Trenchless rehabilitation in accordance with the strictest safety requirements
A complex sewer rehabilitation project was successfully carried out at Brussels Airport whilst the airport remained fully operational. As operations could not be restricted at any time, the project placed high demands on safety measures, logistics and access to the construction site. Thanks to careful planning and the rehabilitation technology used, all the work was carried out efficiently and without disrupting airport operations.
High-performance rehabilitation with BRAWOLINER® 3D
As part of the project, the Belgian company Groep Carlens rehabilitated a total of around 500 metres of pipework. The BRAWOLINER® 3D 100-150 was used, along with 70 containers of BRAWO® UVPox51, totalling around 850 kg of resin. The existing pipes to be rehabilitated were made of clay.
The BRAWOLINER® 3D was particularly well-suited to the existing pipe conditions and enabled a safe, trenchless rehabilitation.
